Today, the text I ready was Romans 11:11-24. The verse I would like to focus on is v 23.
"And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again" (NIV)
Easter is this coming Sunday. It is a time where people who do not attend church regularly attend a worship service. Our God is constantly working on our lives and wants us to rely on him to meet our needs. This verse provides hope to those that have strayed or never been close to the Lord. It clearly states that if you've fallen away from Him, he can bring you back and restore you. I am so glad we have a God of restoration!
Lord, I pray for those who will be touched by You in some form or fashion over the Easter holiday. I pray that lost people will walk through the doors of churches all over the world and discover You. I pray for all of those people who are diligently working to ensure that worship services everywhere are true messages from you. Thank you Lord for your restoring power.
